Cargo Service Agent for Orlando International Airport

Full Time Position
**MUST SPEAK PORTUGUESE AND ENGLISH**

We are seeking a highly motivated individual, a self-starter and team player, with a strong drive for results and continual improvement. Reporting to the Azul Cargo Supervisor, and assists with cargo handling and processing at the GHA warehouse facility with adherence to standard operating procedures. He or she must ensure that Azul requirements are met and when possible to the most favorable level of clients satisfaction and service quality. Knowledge of CBP (ACE) and TSA regulations.
Safety practices are a priority and are non-negotiable at Azul, all rules and procedures must be adhered at all times.

Responsibilities of the position:

- Handle and resolve queries
- Create and maintain files and records
- Drafts internal and external department correspondence
- Assist with cargo bookings and implement cargo handling procedure based on service level agreement with GHA
- Performs other duties as assigned (identified, defined and described the work to be performed)

Requirements of the position:

- Secondary education diploma or equivalent college diploma
- Minimum 3 years of experience in airline industry or ground handling company / freight forwarder cargo operations / handling and warehousing
- Computer and systems literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft office (word, PowerPoint, excel)
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in Portuguese and English, Spanish speaking is a plus.

Customer Service Agent – Orlando International Airport (Part-Time)

Job Description:

- Proactively create an initial rapport with customers and anticipate their needs
- Perform the full range of customer service functions including but not limited to:
- Operate a computerized reservation system
- Customer check-in and assistance
- Ticketing (Azul Sales Desk)
- Checking in Baggage
- Boarding gate management / boarding gate announcements
- Assist customers with Immigration and Customs processing
- Ensure customers are cared for during irregular operations
- Baggage services – delayed baggage processing
- Jetbridge operation
- Communicate critical information to Flight Crew personnel
- Plan and communicate weight restrictions, mail, freight, and container loading procedures with below wing business partners
- Assuring on-time performance in a safe manner
- Assist with Station auditing
- Complete daily reports
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager and/or Supervisor

Experience:

- Background in Airport, Airline, or Travel industry environment preferred
- Previous Customer Service experience required
- At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED

Skills:

- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite a plus
- English proficient
- Bi-lingual in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
- Able to work flexible shifts (including Holidays & Weekends)
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Able to stand, bend, squat, reach, grasp, and pick up items
- Must be able to lift up to 70Lbs/32Kgs
- Self starter, motivated, a desire to contribute and make a difference
- Passion towards exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
